At ERA-transport a/s, Odense, we have our own container depot with a capacity of approx. 2000 TEU, we are connected to the PIC system and also has electric outlets for reefercontainere.
We have 2 container trucks running from 6:00-17:00 every weekday, which can handle all types of containers.
By having containers stand-by at the ERA-Depot (both loaded as empty) I get a very high degree of flexibility and supply. The first 14 days of the ERA-Depot is free. At the same time we save the environment and economy for a large load, because it saves a lot of fuel when the containers are emptied on Funen and may be loaded on Funen again, so they will not be returned empty on either Fredericia Port or Port of Aarhus.
